Creativity and resilience.
TooterSue is where all of the pieces of my life come together: creativity, resilience, entrepreneurship, storytelling and whatever I decide to dream up next.
I am the maker and product formulator behind Creative Organics, with more than 15 years of esthetics experience and over a decade spent creating bath, body and skincare products. But that's only one piece of my world. This is also where I share my writing, memoir, the things I've learned along the way and whatever colorful idea comes next.

I’m TooterSue. Maker, writer, storyteller, professional collector of ideas, and the human behind Creative Organics. I’ve spent more than a decade creating bath, body and skincare products, but making things has never stopped at what goes in a jar. If I can dream it up, there’s a decent chance I’m going to try to make it.
My life outside the workshop has shaped everything I create. I’ve spent my entire adult life living with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), a journey spanning nearly three decades that has included dialysis, two kidney transplants, and more twists than I could’ve ever planned for. I built a business, lost a storefront, started again, and collected a whole lot of stories along the way. Through all of it, creativity, humor and curiosity have been some of my favorite ways to keep finding the good stuff.

I am finishing a book about my life with chronic illness: decades of dialysis, two transplants, home hemodialysis, and the humor and heartbreak that carried me through all of it.
It is about learning to genuinely love the life I have, not the one I planned. If you have ever been handed something you did not choose, I wrote it with you in mind.
